Casper – Commission

One of the recent commissions. Meet Casper, a handsome Siamese cat sitting on a red carpet. He’s painted in oils on a 20×16 inch Belle Arte board from Jackson’s Art Supplies. There are several layers of reds in the painting, from darker crimsons to warm, sunny cadmiums. These different layers make the painting change as the light in the room changes. I love it but it does make it very tricky to photograph.
