Eric

I do love black cats! Meet Eric. This is the first time I’ve painted a cat on an oval canvas. So when Eric’s human asked me to do an oval painting I jumped at the chance. It’s surprisingly tricky it turns out. Your eye is thrown a little as you’re painting. The gold behind him is a gold painted sheet for another painting that I haven’t started yet. But I kinda like the effect of the painting against the gold background. I did paint the canvas gold so I could draw through the paint to give him gold whiskers.
